We’re proud to share the completion of a full renovation of four sanitary blocks — toilets, showers, and washbasins — at the Tyvriv care centre for the elderly and people with disabilities, in Vinnytsia Region, Ukraine.

Scope of works included:
– Complete replacement of tiling and ceilings
– New sanitary ware throughout
– Replacement of water heating boilers
– New doors and fittings
– Creating inclusive space

The renovation took place from December 2025 to June 2026, with total labour and materials costs of about 3 milion UAH. This project was finansed by our Polish partner Foundation Nasz Dom by Dom Development

We’re grateful to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency for providing the construction materials that made this project possible. Another meaningful example of how partnership translates directly into safer, more dignified living conditions for vulnerable residents.

This project is part of the Charitable Foundation “Housing for IDPs”‘s ongoing work to repurpose and reconstruct existing buildings into long-term, high-quality social housing across Ukraine.
